Chianti—home of the Chianti Classico

Take a trip to Chianti to taste the best of Chianti Classico. Visit three wineries to tour and taste. Eat lunch at the famous Mad Butcher of Panzano. Enjoy artisan boutiques in the attractive medieval village of Greve in Chianti. Reflect upon the day’s discoveries while enjoying dinner overlooking the valley of Chianti.

Travel down the famous cypress-lined road of Bolgheri to discover the Super Tuscan wines at their finest.  Enjoy a tasting-menu lunch at the home of Sassacaia.

The medieval village of San Gimignano is not only known for its beauty, but also for having created the first DOC wine—the mineral-rich Vernaccia.  Taste wines in this region and experience the cobble-stone roads of this famous hilltop village.

Cinque Terre—UNESCO World Heritage Site

You will enjoy the local wines grown on the rugged steeply-terraced cliffs of the Cinque Terre that produce a delicate white wine from the indigenous grapes.  Visit the colorful coastal villages and pair the wines with a local fresh fish and pesto lunch—this is where pesto originates and the wine evolved together with the local foods.

Get your game on in the rolling hills of Tuscany

Cyclists know that the best way to see the countryside is with your feet on the pedals.  Tuscany is the perfect place to stretch your legs and get an eyeful of some of the most beautiful rolling hills in the world.  The hilly landscape makes for interesting rides—in fact many professional cycling teams are based in Lucca for this very reason!  From the medieval hilltop villages, Mediterranean shores, the Apuan Alps to the marble quarries of Carrara you can choose your level of difficulty and type of bike (including ebikes!).  Our professional cycling guide and support crew are dedicated to assisting your group on this spectacular cycling adventure.  This will be paired with amazing and bountiful local foods and wines.  Ride hard, eat and drink well, sleep deep and repeat!
